Our Education Philosophy
It is our belief that all students are called to excellence in both academics and personal development. Our teachers are committed to engaging and inspiring students through rigorous coursework, meaningful relationships, and creative learning opportunities necessary for success throughout their educational experience.
Achieving academic excellence requires a number of factors, mainly a widely accepted international curriculum; namely the British Curriculum. British education, at both the school and university level, has achieved a worldwide reputation for quality. The curriculum has a progressive approach: each stage builds upon what has come before. Certain key principles, starting from the early years, run through the whole of the education system: the notion that each child is unique and that this is important; an emphasis on developing positive relationships (with teachers, parents, peers); a focus on enabling environments (learning does not happen exclusively in the classroom); and finally, learning and development – looking at outcomes and results, but only as one part of a child’s education.
Developing the whole student, and particularly at the primary level nurtures an environment that emphasizes how to think, not what to think. The high level of education and rigor our students experience factors in toward achieving their university goals, which we believe are dependent on:

Assessment is at the heart of an effective curriculum and is a fundamental part of good teaching and learning. The School follows a continuous assessment system of monthly tests and examinations. It enables learners to recognize achievement and make progress, and teachers to shape and adapt their teaching to individual needs and aspirations.
